About Us

The Broad Bay Island Garden Club (BBIGC) is a Member of the Council of Virginia Beach Garden Clubs. The Council has more than 25 garden clubs in its membership. The founders' vision of improving and beautifying the Tidewater area continues through Council's support of beautification, conservation and preservation projects around the city.

Our Mission

The Broad Bay Island Garden Club consists of individuals dedicated to fostering a passion for working together to encourage a love and knowledge of gardening. It is our mission to protect our native shrubs, flowers and trees while promoting sustainable practices that enhance our unique waterfront environment. Through these efforts, we enhance the beauty and appeal of our neighborhood and cultivate a sense of community and pride. â€‹â€‹â€‹
