TREX Bench Awarded for Plastic Recycling

The BBI Garden Club led efforts to collect recyclable plastic wrap for a program sponsored by TREX. We met the 500 lb goal in 2023 and received the pictured bench from TREX which was placed at a neighborhood school bus stop. The 2024 goal of 1,000 lbs was achieved and the new bench is on order and will soon grace another bus stop!
